Hi all, Please check this out! :) [Forwarded message from organiser] Hi. I am organising this project for all of us to play our part in promoting acceptance during Autism Awareness Month. In our everyday life of raising a child with autism, even as we face our fair share of difficult situations, many of us have also been touched by various acts of kindness from members of the public. Let’s show our appreciation to the larger community on Autism Awareness Day this year by making and giving something back! This project allows us to reach out to members of the public and sow goodwill through a random act of kindness in the form of a small gift, paid and made with sincerity by participating families. Promoting autism acceptance starts from ourselves. Please support and join me in this project. Performing Arts Extra•Ordinary People's performing arts classes are designed to cater to children and persons with different abilities. We believe everyone can and should experience arts on their own terms. Through providing experiential opportunities, we aim to develop confidence, nurture interest and talent, and encourage self-expression through the arts. Students can also look forward to inclusive performance opportunities. Our performing arts classes are conducted by Resident Artists who are certified or experienced in working with persons with different abilities. There are six programmes available: For all SN diagnosis, severity, ability. Caregiver may shadow if needed. Registration is now open. Single Trial class $20/session. A full program of 10 classes is $150. http://extraordinarypeople.sg/performingarts
